The article compares two policies, feed-in tariff (FIT) and renewable portfolio standard (RPS), for promoting renewable electricity in South Korea. FIT was better for non-photovoltaic energy like wind power, while RPS was more efficient for photovoltaic energy. From the government's perspective, RPS was better for photovoltaic energy, and FIT was better for non-photovoltaic energy.
