The study tested different ways of managing nitrogen in rice fields to improve yield and reduce nitrogen pollution. By using real-time and site-specific nitrogen management, the rice plants had higher chlorophyll levels, increased yield, and better nitrogen use efficiency compared to traditional methods. This approach helped to reduce the amount of nitrogen needed while maximizing the plants' ability to absorb and use nitrogen effectively.
