A study compared six sugarcane clones to see which ones produced the most cane and sugar. They tested them in three different crop cycles and found that two clones, Si 2009-13 and Si 2009-33, consistently had higher yields than the others. These two clones were chosen for further testing in different locations to see how well they perform in different environments.
