The genetic diversity of Thymus sibthorpii in Greek mountain grasslands was studied. Different factors like grazing intensity and habitat characteristics were looked at. Genetic diversity was higher in southern sites and was not linked to species diversity. Environmental factors like soil content and moisture were found to influence genetic diversity.
