The article examines the relationship between economic growth and carbon emissions in Bangladesh, considering imports and exports as control variables. The researchers used statistical tests to analyze causality and found that carbon emissions influence exports, GDP affects imports, and imports impact carbon emissions. They also discovered a long-term relationship among the variables and suggested that efforts from various stakeholders are needed to reduce carbon emissions and promote eco-friendly trade practices to combat global warming and climate change.
