The study aimed to improve food security in northern Bangladesh by analyzing different farming technologies. By reorganizing cropping patterns, the researchers increased output, profit, and employment on farms. Shifting less efficient lands to more efficient crops and combining existing and improved technologies led to significant increases in farm productivity. The findings suggest that optimizing farm plans can boost output, create more jobs, and enhance food security in the region.
