New rice hybrids show significant increase in grain yield and quality!
Researchers studied hybrid rice plants to see how they performed in terms of yield and other traits. They used ten high-yielding lines and three quality testers to create thirty hybrids. They found that most hybrids showed significant improvements in grain yield and other traits compared to standard checks. Some hybrids had better yields than the individual parent plants. Four hybrids stood out for their high grain yield. Many hybrids with high grain yield also showed improvements in multiple traits.
