Air pollution in Lahore reaches dangerous levels, impacting residents and industries.
The study compared pollution levels at residential, industrial, and vehicular sites in Lahore, Pakistan. Results showed higher concentrations of PM2.5, NO2, SO2, CO, and O3 at different sites, with some pollutants increasing in winter and others in spring and autumn. There was a strong correlation between each pair of pollutants, with PM2.5 and NO2 higher at vehicular sites, and SO2, CO, and O3 higher at residential sites.
