Public social insurance contributions for non-agricultural workers significantly higher than farmers.
The study compared how people in different types of social insurance systems conducted economic activities from 2013 to 2017. Those in the public system paid three times more for social insurance than those in the agricultural system. When health insurance and Labour Fund contributions were added, the difference increased to five times higher. People starting economic activities had more than double the share of social and health insurance costs compared to those insured by the agricultural system.
