Management researchers have developed guidelines for using a structured qualitative research approach called Consensual Qualitative Research (CQR). This approach helps in understanding complex issues related to people and organizations by creating new theories and knowledge. Qualitative research is valuable for exploring social phenomena and human experiences in depth, especially when existing theories are lacking. CQR provides a step-by-step process for collecting and analyzing data, bridging the gap between realism and relativism. This adapted CQR approach can be used in Management Studies to enhance understanding and contribute to the field.
