Internal Audit Effectiveness Boosted by Organizational Factors, Empowering Businesses to Thrive
This research looked at what helps internal auditing work well in Polish businesses and public organizations. They surveyed 342 organizations and found that how long the internal auditing had been around, how often they checked on their work, and how they measured themselves all affected how effective they were. Also, it's good if an audit committee helps set what's important to check and doesn't give too much work to the internal auditors.
