Drought-proof farming: New algorithm boosts crop yields with less water
The HADIS algorithm was developed to help farmers efficiently manage water resources for crops during drought conditions. It determines the best amount and timing of irrigation to maximize crop yield and water productivity. By using a combination of C# language, GAMS software, and SQL Server, the algorithm was able to optimize crop water production and achieve maximum productivity in various scenarios. This study shows that HADIS can effectively schedule deficit irrigation to support crop growth and resource efficiency.
