Boosting Wheat Growth and Efficiency with Nitrogen Rates and Planting Methods
The study looked at how different amounts of nitrogen fertilizer and planting methods affect wheat growth. They found that increasing nitrogen levels led to more leaves, tillers, and spikes on the wheat plants. Planting wheat on beds resulted in the highest plant growth and nitrogen use efficiency. Using 60 kg of nitrogen per unit of land showed the best results, with 80 kg also being effective. Overall, the study showed that the way wheat is planted and the amount of nitrogen fertilizer used can significantly impact plant growth and nitrogen efficiency.
