Algorithmic trading (AT) is a new tool that helps make buying and selling stocks easier for big traders. Some studies say AT makes markets better by adding money, making prices fairer, and lowering risks. But other studies say AT can make markets more unpredictable. In Thailand, AT has been allowed since 2006. Research shows that AT in Thailand helps keep an eye on the market, but it's not as fast or active as in other countries.
