The study looked at the different types of vegetation in Muong Nhe nature reserve, finding five main types of forests and cultivated areas. The closed forests are mainly in the sub-tropical zone. In the tropical zone, fast-growing and sun-loving plants are common, while the sub-tropical zone has a mix of fast-growing and typical sub-tropical plants. During winter, certain forests change based on the region. The study suggests that in the future, slower-growing and shade-loving plants will become more common, leading to more closed forests in the reserve.
