A new battery charger was designed to charge different battery voltages (6V, 9V, 12V) and prevent overcharging. The charger has three charging modes and a display to show the voltage being charged. It uses a Pulse Width Modulator to control voltage and has overcharge protection. The charger successfully charged 6V, 9V, and 12V batteries to full capacity in around 2-2.5 hours. This charger saves time and money by eliminating the need for multiple chargers for different batteries.
