A system was developed to monitor and optimize boiler combustion conditions using LabVIEW. It used OPC technology for remote monitoring of operation parameters and neural network modeling for soft measurement of key factors. By adjusting air throttle openings, the system reduced flue gas temperature, carbon content, and nitrogen oxides emissions by significant percentages, improving boiler efficiency and reducing harmful emissions.
