The study tested different coagulants to clean water with different levels of dirtiness. They found that all coagulants worked well to make the water clear. For slightly dirty water, polyaluminium chloride was best. For more dirty water, polyaluminium chloride high basicity worked better. And for very dirty water, polyaluminium chloride was most effective. The cost of the coagulants varied depending on the type used.
