An urban land allocation model called AMEBA was created to help urban planners and developers make decisions about where to expand cities. The model uses agents to simulate how different groups interact and decide where to build. The model was tested in a specific area in Spain and can be adapted for other places. The results show that this model can help answer important questions about how cities grow, even in difficult situations.
