Renewable energy policies like feed-in-tariff (FiT) and renewable portfolio standard (RPS) help increase renewable energy capacities worldwide. These policies have been found to boost solar, wind, and geothermal energy installations in many countries. This study shows that FiT and RPS are effective in promoting cleaner energy production and combating climate change.
