Revolutionizing Indian Mustard Farming: Boosting Yield and Nutrient Uptake.
A study was done to see how different ways of adding nutrients to the soil affect the growth and nutrient uptake of Indian mustard plants. They tested twelve different methods, and found that the plants grew better and took up more nutrients when they were given 100% NPK along with 40 kg of sulfur, 1.5 kg of boron, and 20 kg of zinc per hectare. This combination resulted in higher yields of both the seeds and the plant stems, and the plants absorbed more nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, zinc, and boron from the soil compared to other methods tested.
