The article introduces a new method for ranking decision-making units using data envelopment analysis. By considering multiple weighting schemes, the methodology provides more accurate rankings and realistic weights for the units. The approach is tested using different models and decision maker preferences, showing improved discrimination in the ranking process. The method is applied to rank baseball players as an example.
