An automatic irrigation system was designed to improve food production by automating the irrigation process. The system uses sensors to measure temperature and soil moisture levels, which are then analyzed by a microcontroller. If the values exceed set thresholds, a relay controls the motor for irrigation. An LCD display shows data in the field, and a GSM modem sends SMS alerts to the farmer about the motor's status. This cost-effective system reduces manual intervention, minimizes water wastage, and is particularly useful in areas with water scarcity.
