Foliar application of zinc boosts gladiolus growth and yield significantly
The researchers studied how spraying different micronutrients on gladiolus plants affected their growth and yield. They tested various treatments on the plants and found that spraying 300 ppm of zinc (Zn) had the best results. This treatment led to taller plants, more leaves, longer flowering time, bigger flowers, and higher yields of both flowers and corms. Another treatment with 300 ppm of boron (B) resulted in heavier flower spikes. Overall, spraying 300 ppm of zinc at specific times during plant growth can help improve gladiolus cultivation for better results.
