New model of public-private partnership to boost labor efficiency in motorcycle industry.
The article discusses how public and private sectors work together to improve the workforce and labor efficiency in the motorcycle industry in Thailand. The researchers collected data from interviews, focus groups, and questionnaires to understand the current situation. They found that the private sector has been providing education for the workforce since 1999, but there are still issues with labor efficiency. People with vocational education or Bachelor degrees showed only moderate job performance levels. The study suggests creating a new model of cooperation between public and private sectors to develop a roadmap for workforce development in the motorcycle manufacturing industry.
