Climate models predict increasing temperatures and evapotranspiration, shifting precipitation patterns.
Climate change can affect the water cycle. Two models, SDSM and ASD, were compared for predicting climate in Beijing. Both models did well with temperature and evapotranspiration, but not as well with precipitation. ASD performed slightly better, especially in choosing predictors. Both models predict increasing temperature and evapotranspiration, but different trends in precipitation: increasing in the south and decreasing in the north.
