Optimizing Nitrogen and Phosphorus Levels Boost Maize Yield Significantly.
The researchers studied how different levels of nitrogen and phosphorus affected the growth and yield of maize during the kharif season. They found that higher nitrogen levels led to taller plants and more maize produced, while higher phosphorus levels resulted in increased grain and stover yields. The best combination for high maize yield was 250 kg of nitrogen and 60 kg of phosphorus per hectare.
