Public sector projects at risk as poor risk management practices prevail.
Public information system projects often fail due to poor risk management practices. A study analyzed common risk management models used by project managers, revealing five key processes: Risk Identification, Analysis, Classification, Mitigation, and Control. These processes are not fully implemented, with most projects only focusing on risk management at the beginning. The study found that information system projects generally lack comprehensive risk management practices, leading to challenges in achieving project objectives.
