The article uses a mix of traditional commuting data and new methods to define the Prague Metropolitan Area. By looking at economic and social factors, suburbanization, and daily movement, the researchers created a detailed map of the area. Surprisingly, both traditional and mobile phone data showed similar patterns. The study revealed zones of suburban living and how much time people spend in the city center, giving a complex view of urban life in Prague. The final map combines all methods to show the area in detail.
