Drip irrigation is a great way to water crops efficiently. A study in Uttarakhand, India looked at how well a drip system worked for growing okra. They found that the system was really good, with high levels of water distribution uniformity. The more evenly the water was spread, the better the okra crop yield. The best results came from a drip system that replaced 100% of the water lost to evaporation. This study shows that using drip irrigation can help predict how much okra you'll get based on how evenly the water is applied.
