Boosting Rice Yields: Soil Bacteria Supercharge Microbial Properties for Growth
The study looked at how adding a specific type of bacteria, Azotobacter vinelandii strain SRIAz3, to rice fields affected the soil's microbial properties. They found that using this bacteria along with nitrogen sources increased the population of beneficial bacteria in the soil and boosted enzyme activity. This led to better soil health and could potentially improve rice yield and nutrient uptake.
