Occupational stress in legal industry linked to home-work imbalance and recognition.
The study looked at stress levels among lawyers and legal professionals. They used a survey to find out what causes stress in this industry. They found that the main sources of stress were a lack of balance between work and home life, feeling unappreciated at work, and dealing with difficult managers. They also discovered that job satisfaction decreases when these sources of stress are high. Most lawyers and legal professionals cope with stress by solving problems and seeking support from friends and family. This study shows that awareness of stress in the legal field is increasing.
