The study looked at the difference in wages between men and women in urban areas of Bangladesh. They found that men earn 21.2% more than women on average. When women's qualifications are equal to men's, the wage gap decreases to 8.0%. The wage gap is larger for lower-paid jobs compared to higher-paid ones.
