Rhizosphere aeration reduces grape plant nitrogen absorption, impacting fertilizer effectiveness.
Aerated irrigation can help plants grow better, but it may not work well with urea fertilizer. In this study, researchers used a special irrigation method to see how aeration affects grape plants. They found that aeration increased leaf activity and soil enzymes at first, but later on, plants absorbed less nitrogen from urea. This means that aeration can improve some plant functions, but it can also reduce the plant's ability to take in nitrogen from urea fertilizer. So, using aeration with urea fertilizer may not be the best idea.
