Least developing countries face unique challenges in addressing climate change, with low emissions but high vulnerability to its impacts. Transitioning to a low-carbon economy can help with both reducing emissions and adapting to climate change. However, integrating climate action into overall development plans is still a struggle for many of these countries. While some are considering specific climate laws, most climate action is currently done through policies and executive actions rather than formal legislation.
