Interpreting qualitative research in health psychology enhances scientific reliability and rigour.
Qualitative research in health psychology is gaining attention for its ability to study complex human behavior related to health and illness. Critics often question the interpretative basis of qualitative research, but interpretation is essential in all types of psychology research. By making interpretation procedures explicit, scientific rigor and reliability can be improved.
