The scientists used two erosion models to predict soil loss in small areas in Slovakia. They looked at different scenarios with varying soil moisture levels for different crops. The models helped estimate potential soil erosion during a real rainfall event. The study aimed to identify areas at risk of soil loss and understand erosion intensity in small catchments.
