Drip Irrigation Boosts Tomato Yields, Revolutionizing Sustainable Farming Practices
Drip irrigation and fertigation were studied in tomato plants to see how they affect growth and yield. The study found that using drip irrigation at 75% of the plant's water needs, along with 75% of the recommended fertilizer, and foliar sprays of urea phosphate, resulted in the highest nutrient uptake and best growth and yield of tomatoes. This method helps plants get more nutrients, leading to better growth and more tomatoes.
