The study looked at how treated wastewater affects water quality in a coastal area in Korea. They used a model to see how pollutants spread and suggested ways to manage water quality. The treated wastewater didn't have a big impact on the marine environment, but nutrients like nitrogen were important. By reusing some of the treated wastewater, they could reduce pollutants like nitrogen in the water.
