Rising solid waste in Ethiopian town poses serious environmental threat.
The study looked at how much trash is made and thrown away in Robe town, Ethiopia. They found that people there make about 97 kilograms of trash every day, with each person making around 0.26 kilograms of trash daily. Most of the trash is put in a landfill, but some is dumped illegally on the roads and fields. This is a big problem in many developing countries where lots of people live in cities and make a ton of trash. The findings of this study can help town planners and policymakers figure out how to deal with all this trash and protect the environment and people's health.
