The researchers studied 14 projects in an IT outsourcing company and found that critical tasks were not always identified and resources were not allocated efficiently. They proposed actions like training on critical path techniques, simultaneous allocation and leveling, and using an allocation factor for decision-making. This model can help managers improve resource allocation and leveling in a more integrated way.
