Researchers in South Korea created a new detailed map of climate data by using different methods to fill in gaps between weather stations. They compared their results with existing forecast data and found that co-kriging was best for mapping temperature, while inverse distance weighting worked well for rainfall. This study helps improve our understanding of local climate patterns in Korea.
