The article discusses how to make regions develop sustainably. The author improved the terms used to talk about this topic. They found that there isn't a clear definition of sustainable development in science. They looked at four ways to measure if a region is sustainable. They also explained how to manage the process of sustainable development. The author thinks that current regional policies don't focus enough on sustainable development. They suggest new principles and goals for managing sustainable development in regions like Ukraine.
