Touch-based displays are commonly used for visualizing networks, but current methods don't fully utilize the potential of touch gestures. A new system called Tangraphe introduces single hand, multi-touch gestures for exploring network visualizations. These gestures make it easier to select, navigate, explore connections, and modify layouts in network visualizations. The system also suggests using the non-dominant hand for better interaction, adding more input options, and connecting with other devices.
