The researchers used a Markov chain model to study the temperature in Bangladesh. They created different order Markov chain models and tested their significance. By using Cramer’s, they measured how strongly temperature is linked to the order of the Markov chain. They calculated stationary probability to see if the temperature remains stable over time.
