ATRAZINE EXPOSURE LINKED TO MALE INFERTILITY AND HORMONAL IMBALANCE
The study looked at how a herbicide called atrazine affects male rats' reproductive systems. They gave rats different doses of atrazine and checked their body and testis weight, testosterone levels, and sperm quality. The results showed that atrazine lowered testosterone levels, reduced body and testis weight, and harmed sperm quality by decreasing viability and increasing DNA damage and immature sperm. This suggests that atrazine has negative effects on sperm cells and the male reproductive system.
