Glyphosate Exposure Threatens Male Fertility Worldwide
This research looked into how glyphosate, a common herbicide, affects sperm in men. They tested how a certain amount of glyphosate impacted sperm movement and DNA damage. Thirty healthy men took part in the study. Results showed that sperm movement decreased significantly one hour after exposure to glyphosate, while DNA damage remained similar to untreated samples. In simple terms, glyphosate can harm sperm movement but does not seem to affect sperm DNA integrity, at least in the short term, when used in high concentrations above normal environmental levels.
