Feeding sweet sorghum boosts milk fat content in crossbred cows.
Feeding sweet sorghum to crossbred cows did not significantly affect milk yield, but it did impact milk composition. Mixing sweet sorghum and maize fodder resulted in higher fat content in the milk. The group with a 50:50 ratio of sweet sorghum to maize had the highest fat content. Overall, offering a mix of two types of forage to dairy cows had a positive effect on fat content compared to offering just one type of forage.
