The study looked at how giant freshwater prawn larvae respond to yellow and blue colored feed. They tested which color the larvae preferred and how it affected their growth and survival. The larvae were more attracted to and grew bigger when fed the blue feed compared to the yellow feed. However, the survival rate of the larvae was similar in both groups. This shows that the prawn larvae can see and choose their food based on color, which helps them grow better.
