Climate change is causing changes in Iran's climate, leading to water and drought crises. A study analyzed Iran's vulnerability to climate change using a vulnerability index. Hamadan and Alborz provinces are the most vulnerable, while Khuzestan and Tehran are the least vulnerable due to water resources, literacy, and industry. Decision-makers can use this information to create policies to reduce vulnerability.
